Bastrop County is currently updating its Parks and Open Space Master Plan. The document is being developed in partnership with the National Parks Service, Texas AgriLife A&M Extension Office, and Keep Bastrop County Beautiful.
The Master Plan focuses on identifying the short and long-term needs of the County Park system which includes Cedar Creek Park, Stony Point Neighborhood Park, and Bastrop County Nature Park in Tahitian Village.
Draft Plan Available for Public Comment
A draft of the Master Plan is now available and can be accessed at this link. Plan appendices can be found in the "documents" section at the bottom of this page. Comments on the draft plan should be submitted to Shawn Harris at BastropCountyParks@co.bastrop.tx.us by Monday, February 22nd, 2021.
