Bastrop County is currently updating is Parks and Open Space Master Plan. The document is being developed in partnership with the National Parks Service, Texas Agri-life A&M Extension Office, and Keep Bastrop County Beautiful.
The Master Plan will focus primarily on identifying short and long-term needs of the County Park system which includes Cedar Creek Park, Stony Point Neighborhood Park, and Bastrop County Nature Park in Tahitian Village.
Virtual Public Meeting - September 2020
As part of the development of this Master Plan, Bastrop County is gathering input on local residents on their perspectives and ideas for each of the parks. There will be two public meetings in September which will be held remotely over video-conference. All are welcome!
