Bastrop County is currently updating is Parks and Open Space Master Plan. The document is being developed in partnership with the National Parks Service, Texas Agri-life A&M Extension Office, and Keep Bastrop County Beautiful.
The Master Plan will focus primarily on identifying short and long-term needs of the County Park system which includes Cedar Creek Park, Stony Point Neighborhood Park, and Bastrop County Nature Park in Tahitian Village.

Online Public Meetings
Bastrop County will be hosting two (2) virtual public meetings on Tuesday, December 8th at 2:30pm and Wednesday, December 9th at 6pm. During the meeting we will discuss park standards and potential projects, including opportunities for combining flood mitigation and parkland through Green Infrastructure.
