NOTICE OF MEETING

BASTROP COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT

Pursuant to Section 551, Texas Government Code, the Bastrop County Commissioners Court will meet in Regular Session, Monday, January 9, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Courtroom, Second Floor, 804 Pecan St. Bastrop, Texas.

1. 1.  Call to order and prayer.
2. 2.  Allegiance to the Flags. (Texas Pledge:  Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible).
3. 3.  Citizen comments.
4. 4.  Approve minutes of previous meeting(s).
5. 5.  Approve payment of bills and Treasurer’s Report.
6. 6.  Department report; Approve bonds.
7. 7.  Character Education Speaker
8. 8.  Presentation of County Certificates of Service
9. 9.  Recognition of Bastrop Christian Ministerial Alliance (BCMA) for their work and support during the Bastrop Complex Fires

10. Discussion and possible action re:  reappointment of John Klaus  to the Combined Community Action, Inc. Board of Directors

11. Discussion and possible action re:  terminate lease with Old Frontier Properties, LLC;  Commissioner Beckett

12. Discussion and possible action re:  approve lease with First National Bank for property in Paige for storage and work area;  Commissioner Beckett

13. Discussion and possible action re:  authorize Purchasing to request bids for stump grinding in county right of way of Bastrop County Complex Fire damaged area:  Mallissia Jackson

14. EXECUTIVE SESSION:  Commissioners Court to adjourn to closed meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.07 of the Texas Open Meeting Act, for the purpose of:  551.072-to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property regarding Pine Forest Unit 6.

15. Return to open meeting and take action deemed necessary upon discussion in closed meeting pursuant to VTCA Government Code 551.072.

16. Adjourn.
